How do I contact REOC?

What's the difference between registering on the REOC website as a user and becoming a paid member?

You do not have to become a paid member to benefit from registering on the site.

By registering on the site you can:

  • view blog posts and comments
  • respond by leaving comments of your own, published subject to admin moderation
  • access all other content except 'Consultations' which is a members only area

By becoming a paid member you have additional priveleges on the website:

  • members are awarded 12 site 'credits' which can be used to post up to 12 blog entires promoting your business or interests each year
  • members can for an additional charge place an advert on the site
  • access and view 'Consultations' with the ability to respond and comment
  • you comments on blog posts appear immediately, without moderation by site admins
  • off-site benefits including reduced entry fees to seminars etc
  • the opportunity to play a more active part in the shaping of REOC

This information is all accessible via your 'My account' button, visible at the top of the screen whenever you are logged in.

Members: How do I write a blog entry?

When you are logged in, the 'Create Content' button will appear at the top of the screen.

Click and you will be presented with the option to create content, in this case, 'Blog Post'. Click again and away you go.

Members: What are 'credits' - these were mentioned when I signed up, and on the website when I post a blog entry?

'Credits' are awarded automatically when you become a paid member of REOC. They are simply a way of rewarding members with the ability to contribute to the website and hopefully gain exposure for your business or interests.

Currently, members use 2 credits for each blog post, meaning an annual membership (which awards you 24 credits) offers the opportunity to post once a month, although you can use your credits whenever you wish - there is no schedule.

The credit system means REOC have a means by which to allow all members equal visibility on the website. Also, the system may be expanded at a later date to allow members to post content other than blog entries.
